Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

· Undertake service training for new and existing Retail Distribution Network.
• Drive consistency in standards of service throughout HINO.
• Development of training programs and resources to support sales and service objectives at organizational, business unit, team and individual level.
• Through a consultative approach, support broader HINO business units around service delivery.
• Provide customized training resources/programs.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of all systems, products and services to support staff in providing an exceptional member experience and maximize sales opportunities
• Maximize all opportunities to deliver key organizational revenue objectives including revenue uplift, increased market share and increase in Multiple Product Holdings.
• In collaboration with the Training Officer, develop and facilitate training programs for new retail network staff to include sales, service and system training.
• Analyze skill gaps and performance improvement opportunities – branch, team, and individual level.
• Provide constructive feedback to participants and consult with department managers and team leaders to ensure that coaching and development provided is reinforced through ongoing performance management.
• Develop and review organizational and role-specific capabilities framework.
• Liaise with external training providers and manufacturer to identify appropriate external training solutions.
• Research, develop and implement in consultation with managers high quality contemporary training programs to meet organizational, department and participant needs.
• Provide ongoing reporting and analysis of training activities.

Job Requirements

• Corporate trainers have at least a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or an increasing number have a master's degree with at least 3 years in the operations environment preferably from automotive industry.
• Possess excellent leadership, analytical, planning, execution, problems solving
• Good interpersonal skills and relates well to all levels of staff, dealers and customers
• Critical Thinking: Corporate trainers will have to develop or assess materials that will help employees /Dealers understand the subjects being taught. Trainers will have to understand the needs of the employees/dealers and judge what will work.
• Decision Making: Corporate trainers will have to decide the best programs to train their employees and meet the needs of the organization.
• Communication Skills: Corporate trainers need to speak present to groups of employees, speak interpersonal with individuals, report to management and meet with customers/ they must be friendly, clear, strong speakers.
• Management: Trainers might be in charge of training staff, or need to motivate and train large groups of employees.
