Job Description

Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine cost of business activity such as raw material, purchase, inventory and labor.

Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effect on cost.

Analyzing actual manufacturing cost and preparing periodic reports comparing standard cost to actual production cost

Recording cost information for using in controlling expenditures

Analyzing audits of cost and preparing reports

Maintaining cost accounting system

Assisting in Month end close of general ledger

Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program

Reconciles finished goods inventories

The cost accountant generally work in an office environment , but it is expected to be highly familiar with all production operation, and to regularly visit all significant company operations.

Job Requirements

Job Requirement

Minimum 2 years of cost accounting in Manufacturing Environment

Bachelors Degree in Accounting

Must have a strong cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills, sound understanding of accounting principle and excel

Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards

Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual report

Able to work at Hlaing Thar Yar Industrial Zone
