To Manage and head up the Agency & Freight forwarding services offered to the maritime industry in Myanmar to meet its business plans, to carry out tasks as assigned by the management and to explore business opportunity for Company Group in Myanmar.
Scope of duties
• To draw up the yearly business plan and budget for the BU outlining action plans, revenue/ commission target and cost control measures and market strategy for the year.
• To establish and grow Group company logistics’ presence in Myanmar aiming towards the achievement of profitability and sustainability in line with BU’s vision and values.
• To lead the agency team, in providing shipping agency services to foreign vessels calling Myanmar ports.
• To carry out market study and identify potential investment for our group and IMC Group in Myanmar.
• To lead the Freight forwarding team in arranging the transport of goods on behalf of the merchants.
• To develop long-terms relationships with potential clients to maximize the opportunity to win business contracts.
• To develop relationships with the authorities concerned to obtain support as well as to get access to firsthand information.
• To adhere to company’s policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
• To undertake any other duties/ tasks as directed by the management.

- Bachelor or Master’s degree
- Directly over 8 years experience in shipping line, freight forwarding business in market/sales-container with 5 years in managerial level.
- Good knowledge of the shipping and /or FFD industry.
- Ability to work across cultures.
- Ability to take ownership for key strategic decisions.
- English proficiency in writing and speaking.
