Job Description

• Design and Manage the Technological Strategy for Company’s platforms and network of transaction devices
• Guide the Company in discussions relating to the use of technology for new and existing services
• Lead the technical team in the technical administration and software development of software, services, systems, and devices
• Interact, with a hands-on approach, with development, platform, and systems administrations teams, providing technical leadership
• Ensure the organization’s office systems are secure, up-to-date and scaled to meet the demand of a busy and many numbers of staff across the country
• Implement and Maintain Technical Project Delivery Methods and Standards, as well as standards and certifications for security, quality, and reliability
• Oversee Change Control and Costs Management procedures
• Management of In-House Staff, Out-Sourced Teams, and Managed Service Partners
• Responsibility of the continued high service uptime and swift resolution of issues affecting the company’s key metrics

Job Requirements

Education
• Higher degree diploma and very good command of English language, Burmese preferable.
Experience.
At least 10 years of experience in Senior Technical Management roles, preferably as CTO of a leading organization. Experience in the implementation of bespoke software systems and the deployment of managed services. Experience in service orientated management of office based technology for desktop and remote users
A background in commercial software development and operational management is essential.

Technical Skills.
• Web Service Technology
• Mobile and The Web Based Application Development and Deployment
• Any experience in payments, payment systems or transaction processing will be a strong advantage
• Any experience in the delivery of Linux and Windows Server based systems, using Web Service technology is an advantage
• Hands on Experience in the implementation of systems using Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, and Red Hat), Databases (MySQL and Oracle), Software Development (PHP, Symfony Framework, Java and C++)

Communication skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.

People management skills.
• Manage medium sized teams (15 – 50 persons) which work in shifts and can work over multiple locations.

Qualifications
• Computer Science or Similar degree to at least Bachelor Level
• Any higher degree, professional certifications or awards are an advantage to the candidate
