OVERALL MISSION

The Product manager ensures that the Deposit product is developed, available for our customers and continuously improved. Typical activities include requirement capture, development, go-to-market strategy creation and life cycle management

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Product Life Cycle Management
- Define product vision and strategy based on market needs and Yoma Bank capability
- Develop, launch and maintain Deposit product to ensure revenue growth
- Deliver a deep understanding of market needs from interaction with customers, analysts and customer facing teams within Yoma Bank
- Based on feedback and market / customer understanding develop new products and enhance existing products
- Sign off all documentation, training material etc. pertaining to product releases

Product Portfolio Management
- Create and maintain a best in class road map for the development of a Prize-linked account that would boost deposits in the bank while reducing the cost of borrowing
- Work closely with finance and analyze the financial KPI’s at the product level, and provide investment and performance improvement strategies and recommendations
- Reviews P&L performance of the Deposit product and reports performance to the Chief Performance Officer

Sales Support
- Support Branch Managers in creating targeted customer segments keeping in mind Yoma Bank priorities and product portfolio as well as customer demands and requirements
- Support Branch Managers and Business Development Managers when building solutions against customer requirements
- Participate in pricing discussions and work with Sales and Finance
- Work with Marketing to develop and implement sales and marketing activities while ensuring marketing expenses are managed against allocated budget

KPIs
- Revenue of product
- Product margin
- Customer satisfaction index
- Deviation from Product Development plan
- Actual cost vs. projected budgeted cost

Internal relations
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers, Branch Managers and Call Center Managers to gather feedback on existing product offerings
- Works as part of cross-functional team (branch manager, marketing specialist, IT developer etc) in preparing proposal
- Collaborate with IT to ascertain product implementation feasibility and tweak details if necessary

- Designs product through assessment of market needs
- Continuously innovate product design and portfolio based on customer insights
- Aware of best practices and design methodology in banking products (in particular, prize-linked accounts)
- Ability to gather information from divergent sources and create relevant products
- Able to review and manage P&L performance of the Deposit product
- Good problem solving capability, able to use innovation and initiative
- Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyses information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions
- Excellent customer facing written and verbal communications skills.

Education & Special Training
Essential
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Business Administration, and Economic, Marketing or other related field.

Experience
Essential
- Min. 5-7 years’ experience in similar capacity (could be a Product Manager in another industry)

Languages
Essential
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral in Myanmar and English.
