General Summary

Deputy General Manager is responsible to manage sales performance and the overall business of the sales target services within the territory of Myanmar. Responsible for achieving sales target through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, skills & product knowledge development.

Core Functions

Collaborates with the Director in achieving the sales target & goals for MAR Beverage.

Details of function

• Manage the sales function, streamlining processes business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
• Responsible for manage AR and the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, the meeting agreed on targets and promoting the organization throughout Myanmar.
• Creates customer relationship, ensuring effective spend of the marketing budget, through various advertising channels, trade shows etc.
• Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and communication involving reporting, daily, monthly & one to one meetings
• Personally observe the performance of sales executives in the field sales vs target on a regular basis, also performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in agreed by F&B director.
• Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth.
• Implement all sales policies, practices & procedures.
• Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and report with high-level decision-makers.
• Collecting customer feedback and market insight, also keeping up to date with products & competitors.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management, Food Service Management, Hospitality or Culinary Arts preferred.
• A seasoned professional with 3-5 years of fine dining and catering managerial experience in establishments of at least $1 million annually
• A strong knowledge of wine
• Must be passionate about wine
• Experience managing a staff of at least 50 people’
• Experience and knowledge of hospitality software system are desirable.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong communications skills and the ability to influence, negotiate and lead a group of employees.
• Strong leadership skills as well as the ability to prioritize and remain fluid
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Serve Safe certified.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
