It will be a busy and fast-paced role, but a hugely rewarding one.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely together with the department Head and Marketing Leads to align on activities and budgets, as well as with Business for process, overall calendar and workload alignmentPartner with Business and provide input and feedback to Marketing Leads for the marketing plan and calendar, as well as providing market insights to the organizationProject-manage marketing communications activities whereby all activities/deliverables need to reflect the Yoma Bank Brand, and being consistent across all internal and external touchpointsMeasure the performance of the communications and events to improve quality i.e. create a post event status reports/PR coverage to determine lessons learned and ensure the strategy and messaging resonates with the audiencePR-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESPress releases, media relations, internal communications, networking events, and social mediaExecute the PR strategy for Yoma Bank and its products and servicesMedia/PR: Manage local and international media, in close collaboration with Senior Communications Manager and Communications and Media Relations Officer. Interact, develop and nurture press relationships to effectively promote Yoma Bank brand identity and awarenessInternal communication: Coordinate and provide corporate information to employees, including WorkplaceEVENT-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESExternal and internal events, such as exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, Open House, marketing demos, signing ceremonies and othersEvent management: Working closely with the head of department and department members, successfully organize events within budget execution in order to support the Yoma Bank marketing objectives. Actively control and follow-up on events, based on participants feed-back and actual expenditure. Supplier management: Manage all internal and external resources/parties to guarantee successful execution of the eventsCommunication: Lead, communicate, and collaborate across external partners and internal staff - be a guardian of the event brand to ensure seamless delivery of the overall experience, event vision, and objectivesTHE IDEAL CANDIDATETo be successful in this role, you will possess a track record of handling multiple projects and have worked in Communications and Marketing fields. Ability to listen, adapt, persuade and transform while maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Possess negotiation, influencing, and relationship building skills. High energy, maturity, leadership, and holds attention to details with the ability to serve as a unifying force, and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels. Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all team members, cross-functional teams, third parties, and other departments. Given the transformational nature of the opportunity, a can-do approach and strong collaborative skillset are required.
Knowledge & SkillsEssentialTechnical/Functional competencies:• Ability to position Yoma Bank brand, uphold it to a high level of quality while precisely following the brand guidelines and continuously monitor marketing trendsBrand & Quality Management• Ability to communicate the value of a product or service with excellent knowledge of communication, and marketing principlesMarketing• Producing and/or editing written content in English for press, printed collaterals, media, website, and social media. Contents entail but not limited to press releases, blogs, articles, online posts, and brochures.Multimedia writing/editing• Ability to identify and oversee strategies for engaging with multiple audiences through a variety of internet and mobile communication platformsDigital/Online/Emerging Technologies• Ability to manage the spread of information between Yoma Bank and the public via press releases, news releases, and fact sheetsPublic Relations• Ability to create presentations, present, evaluate, and transform market research data and analytics to derive relevant findings- undertake & provide analysis of dataEducation & Special TrainingEssential• 4-year Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or marketing is required. Master’s degree in Communications or Marketing preferred.ExperienceEssential• A minimum of 5 years’ experience of professional experience in communications, journalism, and marketing with key responsibilities in digital and public relations, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple people, processes and projects in a complex environment.Desirable• International experience and perspective, and/or agency experience is a plusLanguagesEssential• Fluency in English• Excellent writing skills in English
