ROLE PURPOSE
The IT industrialization team brings specialist IT and operations knowledge and experience to the team in order to bridge the gap between IT operations and application development. He or she is primarily responsible for:
(1) Identifying and solving IT dependencies between the digital factory and wider bank
(2) Integrating solutions across the different digital initiatives
(3) Provide expertise and coaching for the team in all matters related to maintenance, deployment, building and release process
(4) Push the organization towards automated deployment, Infrastructure as a Service and continuous delivery process

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Identifies and solves IT dependencies between the digital factory and the wider bank
• Integrates solutions across the different initiatives
• Works tirelessly to increase collaboration between developers and IT operations
• Actively pushes organization and digital labs towards continuous delivery
• Coaches the team on howto advance build processes, prepare code for deployment, and helps to write scripts and maintain environment.
• Coordinates e2e delivery process, and manage design implications on the project
• Aligns team on current state process implementation
• Finds new & innovative ways of process delivery both immediate and longer term
• Adjusts solutions to current enterprise policies
• Identifies focus areas with high business impact to incorporate in transformation roadmap
• Grows team capabilities through personalized training and constant encouragement
• Automates daily tasks & processes to increase developer efficiency

Knowledge & Skills
Essential
• Deep knowledge of relevant domains/products/journeys
• Ability to code and script automation tools
• Ability to translate business processes into automation tools
• Working knowledge of deployment and infrastructure automation solutions (i.e. Puppet, Chef, Vagrant, Docker)
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and virtualization
• Strong communication skills with ability to align organization on complex technical decisions
• Sought out as a mentor and coach for developers across the organization

Education & Special Training
Essential
• Completion of tertiary qualifications in a business or related field such as Bachelor of Computer Science or Information Systems or Business, Management, Commerce.

Experience
Essential
• Prior experience as IT operations engineer (or related field)
• Knowledge of agile principles
• Understanding of developer workflow & comfortable with frequent releases, testing, and deployment
Desirable
• Experience in the Banking is a plus

Languages
Essential
• Working proficiency in Myanmar and English.
