Job Brief of Sales Manager for Thousand Island Hotel

I'm looking for a high-performing Director of Sales and Marketing to help the hotel meets customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the hotel competitive and innovative. Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing Sales Team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.

Key Responsibilities


1 > Prepare sales & marketing plans/strategies and sales report every week/every month to hotel managers
2 > Prepare the estimate Sales Target/Sales Forecasts for October, November and December and submit to hotel managers
3 > Prepare sales & marketing plans/strategies and objectives for high seasons and low seasons
4 > Have to learn and understand the hotel markets in Nyaung Shwe City and Inle Lake region
5 > Have to learn, inspect and observe the main market competitors in Nyaung Shwe City and Inle Lake region and fight with them successfully
6 > Always learn the main competitor’s strengths and weaknesses
7 > Have to know the networks and connections from OTAs, Tour Agents, Business Companies & NGOs and try to get bookings from them for the hotels
8 > Have to learn how to control and manage OTAs accounts such as Agoda, Bookings and other OTAs of the hotels and adjust the hotel room prices accordingly based on the appropriate situation
9 > Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the hotel brand name in both the local area and local community
10 > Have to look for the enquiries for weddings, seminars, workshops and meetings from business companies and NGOs at hotel ballroom
11 > Always have to keep in touch and communicate with OTAs, Tour Agents, Business Companies & NGOs
12 > Always have to keep in touch and communicate with potential and loyal customers in all situations
13 > Direct and manage the Sales Department effectively
14 >Have to promote the brand name of [Thousand Island Hotel ] locally and internationally
15 > Identify the marketing opportunities by understanding the requirements of customers, tour agents, business companies, NGOs and OTAs
16 > Prepare the strategies for advertising campaigns for hotels such as (Facebook, Linked,Instagram and other useful social media platforms ).
17 > Whenever performing the duties, always consider the results and final outcomes and the productivity must be good/acceptable
18 >Perform all other responsibilities as assigned

1 > Bachelor's degree in related field
2 > At least 3-5 years Experience in Sales & Marketing for Hotel Business
3 > Experience in customer relationship
4 > Experience in managing and directing Sales target, Sales Marketing strategies
5 > Ability to support and lead work partners and lead hotel sale team
6 > Strong business sense and industry expertise
