 Prepares tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the office engineer;
 Provides advice on procurement strategy and options during the Procurement Review process to both clients and project leaders;
 Prepares and analyses costings for tenders;
 Undertakes cost analysis for investment and construction project work;
 Performs risk, value management and cost control;
 Carries out compliance checks on payment certificates to contractors;
 Checks outgoing documents and being an authorized signatory on those documents;
 Oversees the day to day running of projects undertaken by the section;
 Responsible for the quality of scheme documentation;
 Prepare feasibility estimates and cost plans for projects and issue same to clients and project leaders;
 Undertakes price/quality evaluations for contractor selection;
 Prepare bidding documents using specifications, schedule of rates and compiling Bills of Quantities and Partnering Information Packs to enable competitive tenders to be sought from contractors;
 Prepares formal contract documentation and project management forms;
 Attends and contributes related meetings;
 Measures and values any changes to the works and checks cost fluctuations;
 Ability to manage all costs relating to civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures;
 Able to work for either the client or the contractor, in an office or on site;
 Able to track any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability;
 Able to prepare complete cost estimate document and construction/projects schedules;

 B.Tech/ B.E (Electrical Power)
 Certificate in MS office applications, MS Project application, AutoCAD applications and other applications;
 Minimum 4 years working experience as a quantity surveyor and/or electrical site engineer with preferable experience in Transmission & Distribution
 Age between 28 to 35 years;
 Experience of communicating effectively verbally and in writing to senior managers and writing reports;
 Able to travel and/or work at project site;
