The main responsibilities of the role holder are to support and work closely with Value Centres (VCs) and Functions especially with branches under Smart Territories VC, liaise and coordinate with the respective line managers and work closely with HRBP for all employee relations related matters. The role holder is also responsible for supporting the bank’s strategies and initiatives to provide an effective and engaging digital customer onboarding experience, expand the agent and merchant networks, and drive the usage of mobile and digital applications, in order to achieve economic and social development in Myanmar through nation-wide financial inclusion.

- Support and work closely with Head HRBP for effective implementation of HR policies, procedures to support the businesses and contribute the overall bank’s strategy of driving nation-wide financial inclusion;
- Responsible for resolve misconduct cases and disputes between employees and line managers, or coordinate grievance procedures to handle employee complaints and disciplinary actions in line with the bank’s policy framework;
- Review the policies and procedures in continual basis and ensure these are align as per prevailing rule and regulations;
- Analyze the current employee relation issues at branches/ VCs/Functions and propose change processes, workflows and the best solutions to reduce the business losses;
- Advise management on matters related to the administration of employment contracts, employee discipline or grievance procedures.
- Serve as a POC (Point of Contact) for employee relation related matters for branches and provide a guidance whichsoever necessary;
- Direct and handle all disciplinary related issues especially for branches under smart territories VC, and assist in the forming of COI (Committee of Investigation), and take a follow up action;
- Investigate and evaluate employee complaints or arguments, any misconduct cases in branches and Head Office;
- Develop methods to monitor employee voices from different channel, resolves the issues by coordination and collaboration with related parties;
- Responsible for acquiring knowledge of the products/processes of the VC/Function, HR processes/procedures and developing the skills required to support the VCs/Functions as Employee Relations Manager;
- Train and develop team members under his/her supervision;
- Handle the other relevant tasks been assigned by a superior and provide a feedback/outcome in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

- Graduate with any disciplines;
- Preferable HR/ Law degree, diploma holder;
- Good in communication and interpersonal relationships;
- Able to work under pressure
- Timely delivery of the task assigned
- Able to travel to branches (if necessary)
- 3~5 years of experiences working under Human Resources field
