PURPOSE OF THE ROLEThis role has to oversee the program of implementation and ongoing execution of an environmental and social management system and applied across operation approach in workplace.ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES• Collect data on the monthly utilization of internal resources for inclusion in the annual environmental and social audit report• To ensure Site acquisition and construction with the procedures required by the Environmental & Social Management Plan (ESMP) are applied and prepare report on environmental, health, security issues and social issues.• Ensure international standards - World Bank/ International Finance Corporation (IFC) relating to environment, health and security conditions are observed• Ensure that the Environmental Impact assessment procedures are applied by Ooredoo Myanmar Limited’s (OML) Environmental & Social Management System (ESMS) and its contractors and service providers.• Ensure the application of and adherence to social ,and cultural policies and procedures by OML, its contractors and service providers including but not limited to: child labor, matters of cultural heritage, treatment of ethnic minorities:• Ensure the application of adherence to fair and transparent policies and processes with respect to treatment of OML employees• Establish and maintain effective relationships with Myanmar authorities and external bodies as appropriate responsible for social, environmental, labor, hygiene and security issues;• Organize and deliver internal training courses on ESMS implementation and administration then Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) as needed• Prepare an annual environmental and social audit report (using both IFC and ADB reporting criteria).
• University Graduate or HSE’s certificated person• Solid experience of 6 years and above in managing HSE projects• Proven experience in developing partnership, stakeholder relations and project management• Fluency in English and Myanmar Language both spoken and written is mandatory• Very good at reporting to management level Only eligible applicants will be contacted directly by the Ooredoo Myanmar Talent Acquisition Team.
