Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

• Understand requirements for each event.
• Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problem.
• Evaluate event’s success and summit reports.
• Identify the client’s requirements and expectations for each event.
• Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms.
• Manage all event operations from conception to clean up.
• Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
• Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
• Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
• Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
• Be in charge of hiring personnel (DJs, waiters etc.)
• Supervise all staff (event coordinators, caterers etc.)
• Approve all aspects before the day of the event
• Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years related working experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Degree in hospitality management, public relation or relevant field is preferred.
• Excellent vendor management skill and problem-solving ability.
• Well-organized with multi-tasking skill.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skill.
• Able to communicate with foreigners.
