Synergia - Consulting & Training, established in 2014 in Yangon aims at advancing inclusive socio-economic development in Myanmar through operations under three pillars:

- Development Projects
- Business Services
- Training Programme

Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant include:

• Provide financial management on the ongoing projects against established timeframe, including projects’ disbursement, preparing invoices and financial reports
• Monitor cash flow, receivable vs payable, tracking and assuring timely banking transactions with the partners and clients (under trade activities)
• Monitor and record office expenditures, including employees’ salaries
• Provide project coordination support including disbursement of advance for field missions, travel arrangements, visas and accommodation
• Keep updated about projects development and perform necessary communication to follow up on the outstanding activities / changes
• Preparing formal documents for the Myanmar public entities, GoM, banks, as well as contractual agreements, translation into Myanmar, when needed
• Point of contact: dealing with all correspondence phone calls and emails
• Planning and maintaining office systems, including data management, filing
• Organising and maintaining appointments and meetings
• Assisting MD and team members at the meetings, taking notes, provide assistance during presentations (including translation)
• Develop and plan on efficient and effective Synergia operations and work approach
• Support to the processes of project acquisition and implementation under all three focal pillars, within given deadlines
• Identifying and recruiting of suitable experts for the selected tenders
• Pro-active promotion of Synergia training programme – develop marketing strategy, identifying new target groups and their training needs, acquiring new clients, training coordination

Job Requirements

We are looking for a pro-active, motivated and hardworking female professional:

• A Myanmar national, graduate from a major university, preferably with a degree in Business Administration, Management or Finance Studies.
• Min 5 years of administrative and financial management experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (Burmese + English)
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• The ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Excellent organisational, coordination and time management skills, attention to detail
• Resourceful with flexibility and adaptability to a range of different tasks
• Good team player with sound interpersonal skills, as well as able to work independently
