VCS is looking for an executive assistant to join a well-established corporate law firm from Singapore with global reach. The founder of this organisation has been in and out of Myanmar for over 30 years and has a very good name in the industry here in Myanmar, coupled with a multiple of large clients. The company is a startup advisory firm with legal, tax, accounting and finance capabilities. The company is currently looking to hire a Myanmar national to join the office here in Yangon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established professional company with huge potential.

The idea of the role is to be able to visit clients on the ground here in Yangon and be the local intermediary for the communications between the back office and the client side. This is a multitasking role as the company requires a good understanding of accounting and finance but to be able to face clients also. It is important to be professional in this role and be able to keep information flow confidential, it is also important to be able to deal with powerful people in Myanmar without being worried about the interaction. Someone who is able to hold their own in a client interaction but also willing to learn about the activities being supplied to the client.

Young professional and outgoing repatriate
25-35 year old professional with a passion to succeed
Fluent in Myanmar and English language
Educated or experience in working in accounting
Confidence in working with powerful local clients or international standards
Long-term commitment with desires to become a partner in the long run
Educated to a degree level in business with accounting or accounting qualifications
An understanding of business law would be beneficial
Passion to succeed, confident and professional
