An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Purpose of Position
This position is to facilitate sponsorship services among children and non-sponsored children, community and sponsors with the collaboration and coordination of project staff and sponsorship department at HO to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in all the required sponsorship services are done within time agreed.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Child Sponsorship Management
1.1. Conduct new child finding and child replacement for sponsorship program to maintain the agreed numbers of registered children in CDP.
1.2. Ensure all the newly recruited children are met with the criteria defined by Child Sponsorship Management guideline and make community understood clearly.
1.3. Facilitate in ACL, APR, Gift Money & Letters and others forms of sponsorship activities in community through participation of parents and volunteers.
1.4. Facilitate timely completion of major activities like Annual Child Letter, Annual Progress Report of sponsored children and other activities according to the schedule.
1.5. Facilitate timely correspondence of carefully checked and translated letters from the Sponsors to children and children to Sponsors.
1.6. Regularly conduct home visit to individual sponsored children household to assess their wellbeing and participation in the sponsorship program.
1.7. Facilitate donor/ sponsor visit in the field level and all the items are arranged that are requested by sponsor or IHQ for positive impression.
1.8. Ensure prompt and accurate response to inquires from sponsors or IHQ memos and mails before deadline.
1.9. Maintain a systematic record system for annual updated child data, individual file and documents and ensure confidentiality of child information.
1.10. Ensure all the Child Sponsorship Management related computerized documents/files are copied in backup system.

2. Collaboration/ Coordination
2.1. Work together with other team members in planning and make sure all the services provided to registered children are met with standards.
2.2. Establish strong communication network with CDC and CDV to respond all the RC issues that can be occurred in community with the collaboration of CDF.
2.3. Facilitate sponsorship services activities in community somewhat of direct and somewhat of indirect through the collaboration and coordination of respective CDF in their assigned area.
2.4. Coordinate with government health staff, ECCD teachers, Schoolteachers and TCRC to facilitate the issues related with registered children if necessary.
2.5. Work together with CDF to carryout the child participation activity in order to increase participation in sponsorship program as well as to decrease drop out rate.
2.6. Disseminate all the updated information that can be changeable in periodically to the staff and if necessary to the families and community in order to avoid misunderstanding.
2.7. Participate in weekly and monthly team meeting and provide supportive and constructive feedback and suggestions for better results in forthcoming activities.

3. Training / Meeting
3.1. Assess the needs of CDF due regards to various aspects of Child Sponsorship Management and provide orientation training to be able to facilitate quality CSM activity in community.
3.2. Conduct the training related with Child Sponsorship Management and other related topics to Registered Children, their parents of caregivers and Community Development Volunteers.
3.3. Conduct advocacy meeting with local authority, senior members of community and parents to maintain a meaningful participation in child sponsorship program.
3.4. Conduct meetings with parents, CDC and general community to disseminate update information regarding Sponsorship Services in the community to have common understanding.

4. Reporting
4.1. Prepare and submit monthly CSM report to the immediate supervisor and Sponsorship Service Department at HO in time.
4.2. Prepare and submit monthly RC dropped report and other reports with relevant information to Sponsorship Service Department at HO within time agreed.
4.3. Prepare and submit the sponsors/donor visit report to HO within one week after the visit with appropriate photos.
4.4. Immediate report regarding death case of Registered Children to Sponsorship Service Department at HO with case story and make sure further necessary supports are done to the family properly.
4.5. Occasionally, provide feedback report to the immediate supervisor regarding the current status of the registered children in targeted area.

Job Requirements

- Graduated with at least bachelor’s degree in any subject.
- A minimum of two years working experience in social works/ customer services / INGO is preferred.
- Excellence in computer, MS word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and email is essential.
- Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills in English.
- Good knowledge on using camera and photography is preferred.
- Able to work office related job as well as willing to visit field when necessary.
- Strong interpersonal, people oriented and able to work with various kind of people including poor.
- Must be able to conform to organizational core values, core documents and standards.
