Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Finance Policy and Procedure
o Lead the existing finance team (5 accountants)
o Prepare a training and development plan for the finance team
o Develop internal policies and SOP for the accounting and finance function

Leadership and Management
o Play an active role in the management and leadership team of Valentis
o Prepare reports for senior management of Valentine Group and international joint venture partners

Tax and Compliance
o Prepare and manage tax and compliance including PIT, Commercial Tax and income tax
o Prepare and ensure timely lodgment of corporate documents with DICA
o Liaise with IRD for tax assessment and tax lodgment
o Arrange audits for Myanmar entities

Accounting and Finance
o Prepare budgeting, cash flow and other financial reporting and management tools
o Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycle of the business units
o Provide assistance to offshore entities in Singapore and Australia

Job Requirements

• B.Com and CA/ CPA
• Proven experience in accounting field (10+ years)
• Strong leadership and management qualities (5+ years in managerial role)
• Knowledge of Myanmar tax rules and regulations
• Strong Microsoft Excel, accounting experience with Xero software is highly favourable
• Positive attitude, strong initiative and high attention to detail
• English proficiency in speaking and writing.
