Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

• Oversee finance and accounting department and responsible for overall financial management of the organization
• Prepare and provide monthly and annual financial reports to executive committee, regulators and investors accurately and timely
• Review all financial reports for approval of transactions
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately and timely entered into the system for monthly closings
• Design and implement accounting systems and workflow processes to improve team efficiency
• Establish financial policies and procedures and improve as necessary
• Benchmark financial and operations performance against other players in microfinance sectors
• Prepare financial forecasts and business plan
• Perform cash flow analysis and liquidity management
• Analyze company’s actual performance compared to business plan and identify the performance gaps
• Liaise with investors to enhance investment and funding opportunities
• Conduct financial status performance reviews and evaluations to reduce cost and improve profitability
• Overall management of tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial process as necessary

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of microfinance-related financial management
• Bachelor degree in Accounting (or) Finance. CPA (or) ACA (or) similar is desirable
• Prior experience in financial institution is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Well understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Well understanding of IFRS
• Good at problem solving, organizing and giving attention to details
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
• Computer literate and proficient use of MS Office
