Job Description

• Able to set up COAs based on business models
• Able to initiate all accounting and expenses policies and manual
• Manage all finance teams and responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations
• Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts
• Perform country-wise financial forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls
• Responsible for timely monthly financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting
• Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries
• Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing variances
• Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up
• Responsible to deal with third party (Government Tax Office , External Audit)
• Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives

Job Requirements

• Master Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA qualification. CPA is preferred
• Min 5-7 year’s relevant experience in financial & management accounting. Experience in Banking or Microfinance industries is preferred
• Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels
• Excellent MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel, experience with Accounting s/w packages an advantage. CRM experience is most preferred
• Able to work independently and highly meticulous
• Good command of both written & spoken English
• Based in Yangon, frequently travel to Asian and African countries
