A Big Opportunity for ...

One of the NGOs is on the hunt for a Gender Specialist to help and implement gender as a cross-cutting issue in a given program.

* To identify the gender dimension in political, social and economic situation in the country
* To prepare gender strategies with the alignment of programmed teams
* To negotiate assessment of the country’s procedures and their effect on economic empowerment and social cohesion
* To provide component leadership and technical guidance while monitoring gender implementation across projects

Job Requirements

* Master's degree in Psychology, Gender Studies or related field from accredited college or university
* At least 5 years of professional experiences in gender programs and/or project management preferably in an international development organization
* Ability to manage and build strong relationships
* Must be fluent in both Burmese and English
