General Manager (Factory)Job Description

• Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales and distribution of products.            
• The factory Deputy General Manager will primarily be responsible for assuring the smooth operation of the 50+ person facility.
• Duties: Control all day-to-day operations. Supervise a staff, including Manufacturing, Quality Control, Human Resources, Customers Service, Production Control,Finance and Purchasing.
• Responsible for the facilities On Time Delivery and Quality metrics Organize worker teams and motivate the staff.
• Constantly find ways to increase productivity by better work methods and process automation.
• Regularly and consistently report on the facility’s activities to the Managing Director.
• Develop a thorough understanding of custom box manufacturing methods to better suggest improvements.
• Develops strategic plan by studying objectives by establishing plans. Budgets and results measurements allocation resources , reviewing progress, making mid-course corrections.
• Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets and results measurements, allocating resources, reviewing progress, making and corrections & Preventative Action.
• Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field and technical services policies and practices, coordinating actions with corporate staff.
• Build Company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations and employees enforcing ethical business practices.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures, conferring with board members, organization officials and staff members as necessary.
• The Successful Applicant

• Minimum requirement of Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5-8 years’ experience in similar position within a food Related Manufacturing and Export company (Seafood experience will be an advantage)
• Candidate must be age above 35.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Should be able to communicate well in English.
• Should have great understanding of seafood market trends in Myanmar.
