BASIC FUNCTION:

Direct the overall operation of a New Horizons Computer Learning Center, implement New Horizons system and procedures, and has total accountability for profit and loss outcome.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Hire, supervise, and develop New Horizons Computer Learning Center personnel to ensure a highly motivated and efficient staff. Maintain a sales-driven attitude among all department staff.

2. Supervise and develop the Sales Manager to ensure a highly motivated and efficient sales staff. Ensure that the New Horizons sales process is followed by taking the hands-on role in Opportunity management, meeting revenue and cash collection objectives.

3. Supervise and develop the Training Manager and Operation Manager to ensure a highly motivated and efficient instructor staff that delivers high-quality training.

4. In conjunction with any dedicated Marketing personnel, develop the center marketing plan and ensure the plan is executed to drive incoming leads and local market brand awareness.

5. Supervise and develop the Office Administration Manager to ensure a highly motivated and efficient staff that provides timely support for the computer learning centre staff and quality service to customers.

6. Develop, administer, and is accountable for the New Horizons Computer Learning Center operating a budget.

7. Assume responsibility for all equipment and supplies, establish reasonable procedures and controls to protect assets from damage and theft.

8. Promote public relations with the community through participation in local business and civic organizations.

9. Perform other duties and tasks as designated by the owner and New Horizons Area Management.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor degree, emphasis in business, education, or computer science preferred.

2. Five or more years management experience, preferably in a training environment. Experience with sales and P& L responsibilities highly preferred.

3. Computer literate and able to demonstrate proficiency in software applications required in the performance of job responsibilities.

4. Must possess excellent leadership abilities; be able to consistently make intelligent decisions under pressure; possess good judgment, initiative, good attitude and dependable; possess excellent organizational abilities and be able to deal effectively with people; possess good analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and deadlines is essential.

5. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are imperative.
