Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Analyse existing seismic data, well logs, test data and production data, report on findings and refine leads and prospects. Source additional missing data from MOGE and other sources.

Contribute to prospect and leads ranking and risking and assist in selecting drilling locations.

Prepare well proposal documents.

Prepare and present monthly technical reports and updates for MOGE.

Contribute to the Company’s monthly operational reporting and internal presentations.

Support ESIA and drilling programs ranging from multi well brown-fields appraisal to single-rig greenfields exploration campaigns.

Prepare well completion reports and contribute to post well analysis studies.

Conduct geological field mapping studies and prepare reports on completed field work and findings.

Coordinate with HSE staff to ensure the safe performance of drilling and exploration operations.

Assist the supervisor/Manager as needed.

Job Requirements

Fresh Graduated and Non-Experience are encouraged to apply.

Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology or Geophysics

Mining or oil and gas exploration industry experience including office based experience is preferable.

Experience working within an operational exploration or production organisation

English communication skills

Ability to work independently and willingness and ability to travel to remote locations for site visits.

Experience working in a small team environment would be desirable.

Field mapping experience is desired but not essential.

Experience in producing regional studies, basin analysis and lead and prospect generation would be beneficial.
