Major Function
The GE Programme Assistant assists in all programme and administrative duties for the GE team, liaises with other WWF Myanmar programme staff, finance manager, operations team, ensures smooth project management, supports organizational tasks, and supports communications. He/ She will directly report to the GE Officer, with technical supervision by the Green Economy Team Leader.
He/she will then:
• Assist in the development and implementation of the Myanmar GE strategy
• Support the GE policy team in implementing the work programme via research, programme, logistical and financial management support

Major Responsibilities
• Support the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and information-sharing; Develop and maintain a filing system
• Maintain and update progress on work plans
• Implement progressive monitoring and evaluation of project activities
• Conduct research on various topics related to Green Economy as necessary
• Feedback regular information to the supervisor to enable the preparation of project reports and plans in a timely manner
• Support the organization of field visits, donor and consultant visits in terms of logistics and planning
• Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories;
• Attend meetings, workshops, and trainings as authorised by his/her supervisor
• Assist administrative duties of the team

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications & Knowledge:
• Bachelor Degree in Business Management/Marketing, economics or development studies
• At least 2 years work experience, preferably in business sector, development organisation or conservation NGO.

Required Skills and Competencies:
• High level coordination and organization skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Myanmar;
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to be self-organised and proactive
