Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

The main responsibility is to manage the consolidation of accounting records and general ledgers, generation of financial statements, and operations of cash payment to ensure that the financial transparency and compliance with accounting standards and METRO Group practices.

Detailed responsibilities include:

▪ Effectively perform functional accountabilities below:
- Develop and periodically review accounting standards and policies to be guideline for accounting operations and activities
- Set up and periodically review accounting infrastructure and system in compliance with IFRS, statutory/ fiscal requirements, MCC and Metro Group internal guidelines
- Participate in establishment and planning of tax structure, in order ensure operations transparency, to optimally utilize tax privileges/benefits and to ensure compliance with rules, laws, and regulations
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including performing book-keeping (account payable, account receivable, fixed assets and inventory) on all financial transactions and other relevant accounting activities
- Manage and supervise the process of consolidated financial statements development and other periodical statutory reports regarding income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
- Manage and control fixed asset account recording, including calculating depreciation and supporting accounting data for the organization
- Manage and cross-check inventory recording with account receivables to ensure the accuracy of inventory tracking
- Establish and manage cash control and cash payments operations, including petty cash and payroll operation and recording
- Manage coordination with regulators, auditors and all relevant parties to provide and clarify any accounting related information and issue - Ensure accuracy in accounting operations and compliance with accounting principles and standards
▪ Develop action plan to provide guideline and instruction for team
▪ Supervise, monitor and control utilization of CAPEX and OPEX to ensure optimal corporate benefit and alignment with budget plan
▪ Identify required skills and competency, as well as provide coaching and motivate team members for career growth and development
▪ Manage, monitor, and evaluate performance of subordinates to ensure achievement of department goal and target
▪ Ensure operational compliance with the company’s policies and regulatory requirements
▪ Evaluate and manage risk to be within acceptable risk level to minimize potential business disruption
▪ Collaborate and support on corporate agenda upon request

* Minimum 5 years relevant experience in relevant field
* Proficient user of MS office
