Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

• Manage the Finance and Accounting function of Myanmar entity including accounting policies and procedures, processes, internal controls, accounting software and reports.
• Lead the accounting and finance team of 8 people including their performance and development.
• Oversee and manage the full spectrum of the daily accounting operation and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all entries.
• Support local management and CFO with accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports and analysis.
• Responsible for the budget, forecast planning, cash flow management, and P&L of the company.
• Conduct regular internal reviews and audit to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and statutory regulations.
• Prepare annual tax returns for submission to the authority.
• Actively participate and engagement with various stakeholders in pricing, profitability, risk assessment, ROI evaluation and contract management.

Job Requirements

• Must have a degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA. Those with CPA is preferred.
• At least 10 years of accounting experience preferably in the logistics industry handling a full set of accounts and proficient in preparing financial and management reports.
• Must have strong leadership skills and have experience leading an accounting team.
• Must have strong analytical skills and excellent computer literacy. Those with knowledge and working experience of accounting software (SAP) is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and meticulous in the work.
• Proven organisational skills and able to manage multi-projects concurrently.
• Possess confidence, initiative and high energy or drive as well as able to work independently.
