This role will operate as part of the local management team and report directly to the CEO with a dotted line reporting to Corporate Legal function. Key responsibilities will include strategic/legal advisory and commercial support to the business and providing leadership to the local legal team.

Job Requirements

1) Ability to independently handle legal matters and projects ranging from basic to complex and good at execution.
2) Strong analytic, process and project management skills.
3) Able to think strategically and implement business solutions.
4) Strong communication and collaboration skills, good at building networks. Knowledge of competition law, labour law, and commercial laws related to the food & beverage industry.
• Knowledge of marketing laws and understanding in handling trade promotions, contracts, and customer activation schemes.
• Good presentation skills.
5) Qualified lawyer from a high quality university with a strong academic background; experience in a multi-national environment. Prior experience in a FMCG is an advantage.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Myanmar)
* At least 8 years post qualification experience
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
