GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Procurement Head is responsible of sourcing, assessing and procuring the equipment, materials and services necessary for all the EPC projects as well as electrical equipment supply. The Procurement Head is also in charge of maintaining relationship with vendors and suppliers. He supports the Business development, sales & marketing (BD, S&M) team for new business acquisition.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities are to
 Actively establish strategic alliance with vendors and maintain an approved vendor list and price database
 Raise quotation requests (RFQ) to source and evaluate vendor offers in terms of quality, cost and delivery
 Execute general sourcing and price negotiations with the vendors
 Prepare contractual documentation and issue orders to vendors including change orders
 Monitor and expedite vendor progress and management of vendor change order and claims on non-performance vendors
 Prepare reports on market trends, supply and demand, and status of orders and forecast payment schedules, etc.
 Coordinate with freight forwarder for packing, transport and shipment, import/export customs & duties and prepare shipping documents
 Provide site coordination with the project teams upon delivery of the goods
 Liaise extensively and support BD, S&M team to get competitive pricing during bidding stage for tenders

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
 Minimum Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying) or equivalent
 Diploma in procurement or supply chain management advantageous
 At least 5 to 10 year relevant experience in procurement for EPC companies handling M&E fabricators,subcontractors, vendors of rotary and static equipment, bulk material piping valves, control systems, electrical panels and electrical cabling, etc.
 In depth working knowledge on international practices for purchasing contracts and shipment protocol
 International EPC contractor background advantageous
