Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

· Draft necessary regulations, guidelines, strategies and procedures for the regulation of telecommunication sector

· Ensure that every department have in place an updated standard operating procedures ( SOP ) and relevant policies and procedures for efficient operations, compliance with timely local regulations

· Maintain relationship and enhance communication with the Government offices and other relevant bodies on matters pertaining to telecommunications industry

· Advise the management on legal matters ; Prepare consultation on various initiatives and relevant projects related to functions of the departments to align with timely Policy and Regulatory Affairs

· Plan and manage the resources of Regulatory Services Department and work for yearly budget of the Regulatory Services Division

· Transfer knowledge and assist in developing staff to ensure that Regulatory department is equipped to meet its objectives with a strong base of professionals

Job Requirements

Open to Myanmar National only

· Bachelor Degree in Law, and strong knowledge on “Telecommunication in Myanmar”

· Minimum 7 years of working experience in managerial position

· Solid experience in legal practice or corporate environment with experience in drafting complex legal agreement or policy, rules and regulations

· Possess strategic & creative thinking, good leadership quality, effective problem-solving, good negotiation and operational decisions

· Good in drafting legal agreements or policy, rules and regulations

· Excellent command in English
