To recruit, train and build a critical mass sales agency force, to implement effective direct sales strategies to gain new customers and to perform efficient after-sales and customer care activities to maintain business relationship with existing customers and achieving in accordance with business plans.
Main Responsibilities
1. Carry out market research to define the market needs, develop ideas on direct marketing plans and pricing policy in accordance with the insurance market demand, present situation and business opportunities.
2. Implement and perform possible ideas of marketing strategies in different sales & marketing channels to increase sales volume.
3. Build a critical mass sales agency force by recruiting and closely supervising Regional Sales Managers, Sales Managers, Sales Instructors; train and motivate them to become successful leaders of their respective sales team
4. Collaborate with various departments for operational excellence and retain sales members by structuring efficient and cost-effective incentive schemes, retention and succession plans.
5. Conduct necessary training, training tools and training plans to increase visit rate, enter rate, buy rate for sales members and implement after-sales care services to reduce policy lapse rate, default rate and increase persistency rate
6. Maintain business relationship with existing customers by contacting them via personal visit, emails or phone calls.
7. Seek out new clients and develop clientele from various industries by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
8. Involve in business planning, marketing budgets and sales targets.
9. Achieve sales target, profit goals and manage marketing activities for most or all products available in diverse product lines and multiple markets, in accordance with the agreed budgets and timescales.
10. Influence, advise, motivate the staff, lead the team and direct the projects, tasks and operations regarding to sale activities.
11. Enforce sales & marketing staff in accordance with the established rules & regulations and take action when the established rules are violated.
12. Recruit sales & marketing people both full time, part time and conduct internal training and meeting in order to improve staff’s soft skills and insurance knowledge.
13. Collaborate with Business Development team and other departments for opinions to participate in the sales events or promotional plans held by the third parties and, handle internal sales and events by collaborating with relevant department.
14. Do weekly sales & marketing reports, including the marketing activities and sale volumes
15. Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor degree from a university.
• Experience in Insurance Sales, Agency Development, Sales training or Sales Management area for 15 years or more at an internationally recognized Insurance firm(s)
• Prior Experience in building and managing successful agency/sales forces for more than 5 years.
• Proven records of achieving Targets and driving sales growth would be an advantage
• Strong leadership skills and motivational skills for sales team is a must
• Computer skill, Analytical skills is a must
• Fluent in English, preferably with basic/communicable Burmese
