TrueMoney Myanmar has an exciting opportunity at their Yangon Head Office for Head of Sales. The successful candidate will be integral in the success story of TrueMoney and will responsible for driving the Agent Network growth and operations. This is a hands-on role that requires an active leader with a can-do approach.

About the Role

Across the business, we are now looking for a proactive and dynamic Head of Sales to deliver the overall financial objectives for Myanmar (nationwide) through the management and co-ordination of a team of Sales and Distribution. The function of the role is to implement structure and motivate the Sales team to achieve goals and exceed results. At TrueMoney we operate in a fast-paced environment with a steep learning curve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing sales budgets, margin and net profit according to company targets
• Ensuring development and management of sales centers and coordination with Marketing for branding, events, and marketing material
• Being a key decision makers to develop business opportunities and monitor and map competitors' movement in the sales area
• Negotiating major deals and maintain good relationships with all clients, channels and distributors and identify key opportunities
• Building and leveraging personal external networks and relationships
• Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
• Building a strategy to drive core business products and expand the market
• Ensuring continuous improvement in both agent and customer experiences through development and deployment of best practice processes
• Setting goals, objectives and priorities, and assigning projects to sales teams
• Leading the department to ensure the achievement of objectives in due course, cost and quality
while maintaining sustainability across the departmental functions, projects and resources
• Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.
• Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
• Define and oversee regional sales teams’ compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets.
• Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
• Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
• Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.
• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
• Travel at least 25% of the time to field visits and market assessments.

Job Requirements

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor in Business Administration or related filed. Master’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years direct experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably experiencing in financial technology or financial services
• More than 5 years of senior management experience and more than 3 years of driven sales across Myanmar.
• Proven track record of delivering growth within Myanmar.
• Experience in working with new customers and developing relationships quickly
• Self-starter who uses own initiative
• Fluent communication in English and Burmese
• People Management experience
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Willing to travel with in Myanmar
• Leadership personality with judgment and decision-making skills and good coaching background
• Solid presentation skills and outstanding people skills
• Analytical mindset with great decision-making ability.
• Sharp problem-solving ability, process orientation and capable to drive sales results
• Ability to manage challenging timelines and work under pressure
