The Dariu Foundation is planning to implement programs of micro-finance, scholarship, school-building, mobile school and finance education in Mandalay region with considerable expansion. To carry out the great expansion of our organization, TDF in Myanmar is looking for a qualified Myanmar staff.
Head Office Accountant reports directly to the director and coordinating its work with other members of the group. His/her functions includes but is not restricted to the following duties:
1. Build and complete all the regulations and rules related to financial policies and accounting guidelines of both TDF and other projects include: the policies and guidelines for DSA, travel expenses and other related expenses, invoices / vouchers; the detail payment process; cost ratio for all items, such as training, seminars, paying for local teachers, …
2. Develop guidelines, KPIs, and internal inspect at the branch regularly (include monitor all the assets of the organization).
3. Plan and carry out at least two internal training courses for each office on all related policies and guidelines to make sure that all staff follow consistently and perform well the designed rules and regulations
4. Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
5. Develop and get approval by the Director of all cost rates for HO and BOs, including internet, telephone, MF costs for loan officers, and other branch staff, penalties; and reporting line policies
6. Track, monitor all service contracts, activities progress, criteria of microfinance programme and other projects.
7. Compile with government financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
8. Guideline to ensure that all employees follow them consistently and properly implement designed rules and regulations.
9. Prepare forms and manuals for personnel related to direct their work activities
10. Create monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and other reports when required
11. Prepare, provide and double-check all necessary reports timely.
12. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
13. Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments
14. Ensure compliance with statutory, governmental and accounting regulations, standards and policies, and effective internal controls, serving as steward for the institution
15. Responsible for the overall planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the fiscal management of the organization.
16. Provides financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices;
17. Updates job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices
18. Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time
19. Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
20. Perform other tasks when/where required.

22. Prepare and provide all the required report in a timely manner
23. Other tasks when and where requested
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting is required, CPA, ACCA and/or MBA preferred
At least 03 years of experience at the same position in Microfinance Company or 05 years experiences in audit firm
At least 03 years of leadership position
Good communication in English
Excellent communication and financial modelling skills
Honesty and integrity
