Job Summary:
Responsible for the daily operation of the spa, swimming pool and health club.
For spa is developing vendor relations, overseeing and motivating spa sales, implement strategies to achieve performance targets, ensure guests are receiving 5 star treatments while at the spa, train and mentor the employee.
For health club and swimming pool is implementing and overseeing individual and group member programs by supporting a wide variety of business needs.

The job scope includes performing the related position tasks of handling all four buildings of Hotel, Office Tower, Residence and
apartment which are directly managed by the Hotel Management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assists in ensuring an exceptional experience is delivered to all guests.
2. Ensures the highest level of cleanliness and orderliness in spa rooms, health club and swimming pool.
3. Motivates trains and develops all spa, health club employees to achieve high standards.
4. Sales projections as defined in the budget are met or exceeded through effective promotion, merchandising and initiative.
5. Demonstrates an exceptional level of professionalism for the employee to emulate.
6. Creates a motivating environment of sincerity, warmth and fun for employee and guests.
7. Performs duties according to the specific list of responsibilities as enumerated below.
8. Maintains a regular submission of key financial reports to the Front Office Manager.
9. Uses plans, budgets and key performance indicators for spotting trends, measuring productivity and monitoring progress.
10. Plan and implement the membership programs for spa, health club and swimming pool to maintain occupancy.
11. Understands service and product margins as important criteria in program maintenance.
12. Implements opportunities for managing operational costs and boosting the bottom line.
13. Develops procedures for accurate inventory control.
14. Monitors spa and employee purchasing standards to ensure all product purchases are in compliance with these set standards.
15. Effectively organizes employee and guest scheduling for maximum revenue generation and profitability.
16. Understands the spa’s marketing strategy and ensure that the spa’s image is consistently portrayed with every marketing decision.
17. Be proactive in developing publicity opportunities through the media in conjunction with the hotel’s Sales & Marketing team.
18. Maintains gracious and efficient front desk procedures for booking and handling of customers.
19. Creates ongoing promotions and activities to stimulate sales, employee and repeat guests.
20. Stays on top of spa industry trends in order to maintain a strong menu of services with both exceptional artistic and aesthetic value.
21. Works at consistently developing and growing treatment or retail sales through ongoing employee training, encouragement and numbers monitoring.
22. Ensures all guest’s needs are being met at all times by all employee.
23. Monitors satisfaction through active guest interaction and comment cards.
24. Maintains a guest database to monitor visits and preferences which will in turn assist in retaining and grow customer base.
25. Encourages employee to develop relationships with guests and show genuine care.
26. Upholds gracious front desk procedures in the booking and handling of guests.
27. Maintains compensation guidelines for guest complaint handling.
28. Identifies, set up and maintain internal employee recognition and training programs to effectively meet employee’s needs and retain good employees.
29. Ensures all employees undergo certified “service ready” training, before administering any spa treatments
30. Schedules and implements interval standards training to ensure standards are being upheld, for all employees on an ongoing basis
31. Monitors job descriptions and goals planning documents.
32. Maintains an employee contract for each employee, ensuring it is kept up to date and accurate and that all employee remains in compliance.
33. Sets up annual employee evaluation calendar to ensure consistency and accountability are in full effect.
34. Performs employee evaluation reports as per the calendar, with proposed action plans.
35. Effectively organizes and monitors employee scheduling procedures that sustain business needs.
36. Maintains an up to date version of the Spa Operations Manual.
37. Ensures standards are being met regarding Disinfection and Sterilization, Emergency Preparedness, Safety & Security etc.
38. Develops and maintains spa literature, documentation and process handling requirements.
39. Maintains and update all necessary internal signage and collateral.
40. Holds regular employee meetings to keep employee up to date on all aspects of the Spa’s operation.
41. Ensures equipment is maintained in good working order.
42. Ensures stock and cash items are kept safely under lock and key.
43. Losses through negligence are eliminated.
44. Implements a clearly established opening and closing procedure while following the guidelines as provided by the Spa Operations Manual.
45. Attends management meetings as required and ensure all relevant inter-department information is being communicated throughout the spa.
46. Manages inventory effectively and follow implemented purchasing standards and procedures to always remain in compliance.
47. Resolve disputes.
48. Discipline staff when necessary.
49. Makes performance appraisal for your employees.
50. Assist with the preparation of staff rosters.
51. Promote the hotel and Wyndham products and services.
52. Adhere to the hotel’s and emergency policies and procedures.
53. Be familiar with property safety, current first aid and fire emergency procedures.
54. Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements.
55. Abide by the Wynreview System.
56. Abide by the Hotel’s Policies and Procedures, Wyndham Code of Business Conduct and the hotel’s Associate Handbook.
57. Carry out other tasks as directed by your supervisors

Job Requirements

Job Knowledge / Skill:
1. Good knowledge and very familiar with all Spa, Health club and Swimming area operation
2. Good English language skill
3. Good supervisory skill
4. Good communication skill
5. Be good at organize and problem solving
6. Good finance knowledge
Education:
University degree in hospitality or related subjects preferred

Experience:
Minimum 5 -year working experience required in supervisory position
