Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

We are looking for a Human Resource and Compliance Manager who as a leader with a proactive approach should be able to lead and direct his team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices and to provide guidance and enforce regulation on compliance matters.

The successful Candidate should be able to;
• Communicate with excellent verbal and written English and Burmese to interact with all levels of management and Employees.

• Give guidance and train the HR team for recruiting staff - which includes developing job descriptions, preparing job adverts, making application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates, handle employee relations, preparation of salaries, managing absence, disciplinarians, grievances, sickness and can measure employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement.

• Administers payroll and maintaining employee records.

• Interpret and advise on employment law, and ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law and that managers are up to date with changes to any policies.

• In a broader perspective, make sure that the company’s system, rules and regulation are compliant with all national and international laws and regulations and are being strictly followed.

• Show good proficiency in the use of Microsoft office, Excel, Word etc.

Job Requirements

It is expected the successful applicant will be able to show a minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior HR position, either Assistant or Manager.
Ideally the candidate will have some experience of a Garment factory but not essential.
Ideally the applicant should be based in or near to Bago, where our state of the art new factory is situated, but not essential as accommodation can be provided in our company house.
