Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

-Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
-Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives Compiling and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
-Ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries
-Support daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes and relevant documents
-Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
-Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
-Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
-Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
-Communicate with public services when necessary
-Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
-Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
-Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
-Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
-Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings
-Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
-Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records
-Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
-Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Job Requirements

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

-Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
-MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel
-Bachelor’s degree or other education in relevant field
-Basic knowledge of labor laws
-Excellent organizational skills

Competencies Essential for Success in the Role:
• Good Communications skills
• Proactive, candor attitude
• Flexible approach and ability to work across different organizational cultures

Experience & Background:

-1-3 years of relevant experience
-Fluency in written and spoken Myanmar and English
-Attentive to details
-Self-starter with good time management skills
