Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

- Lead, develop and motivate the team to deliver the provision of proactive Talent Acquisition and Employee Development programmes with a focus on Inclusion, Equality and Diversity.
- Oversee all Talent Acquisition initiatives. Identify, evaluate and implement innovative strategies to acquire talent; including initiating and maintaining relationships with outside sources (eg recruitment agencies, search firms, job portals, universities and other education institutes). Develop and be involved in the organisation’s selection processes and provide guidance and training on best practice assessment and selection techniques.
- Lead on employer branding initiatives by using the organisation website, social media, job boards, participation in job fairs, university links, etc. to become an Employer of Choice
- Work collaboratively with recruiting managers to carry out effective workforce planning, to understand business objectives and candidate requirements for vacant positions, and to fill vacancies in a timely manner and with a commercial focus.
- Oversee all talent development activities and reinforce corporate culture and values through programme design. Lead on annual Training Needs Analysis and preparation of the annual training calendar and plan. Design, plan and conduct employee development programmes based on robust training needs analysis. Evaluate effectiveness of programmes, methods, content, tools and technology through the use of quantitative and qualitative metrics.
- Suggest and implement new learning tools and technology that align with Shwe Taung Real Estate’s strategy and business needs.
- Partner with department heads and managers to determine best practice employee development solutions and suitable career paths for talented employees.
- Monitor and evaluate employee turnover and develop action plans to improve employee retention.
- Support the Head of HR with the organisation’s succession planning and talent review processes.
- Develop and control the Talent Acquisition and Talent Development budgets.
- Develop, analyse and report on relevant metrics that monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of Talent Acquisition and Development processes.
- Act as the subject matter expert and consultant to the organisation. Maintain knowledge of industry trends in talent acquisition, development and retention, research latest developments and make suitable recommendations for improvement/change.
- Ensure all HR service standards and KPIs related to the HR functional area(s) are met (at the minimum) to ensure the delivery of high standard HR provision.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant HR work experience.
- Post-graduate diploma or similar certification in HR or Personnel Management.
- Up-to-date knowledge of local employment law and regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of best-practice approach and latest trends in Talent Acquisition, Development and Retention.
- Significant experience in a similar HR Management role; successfully delivering Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Talent Retention initiatives.
- Experience of setting and controlling relevant HR budgets.
- Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate teams and individuals to achieve high performance and deliver value.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in Myanmar (advance level) and English (advance level) with proven ability to modify communication style and approach based on the audience.
- Integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong MS Office skills (particularly Word and PowerPoint).
- Approachable and personable nature with the ability to collaborate effectively within and outside the organisation.
