Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Purpose of role:

As HR Manager, you will report to the Human Resources Director, and you will be responsible for providing all HR functions and advice for Service Managers and Teachers across the network, as well as providing certain important key functions for all staff. This will mean building meaningful relationships and communicating effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation, as well as an understanding of Company policy and procedure, and general HR practice.
The main challenge in this role lies in the responsibility for all HR issues for the Company’s expatriate employees, requiring a multi-disciplinary understanding of all HR functions, and an understanding and ability to balance the needs and expectations of the employees with those of the Company.


Key tasks:

• Onboarding Process
o Developing process, content and material for Company Orientation
o Presenting Orientation sessions for new employees
o Welcome pack for new hires

• HR Surveys
o Conducting the quarterly employee NPS survey, and analysis and interpretation of results
o Training feedback surveys

• Internal Communication
o Writing and proofing content for important internal communication and policy documents
o Formatting and proofing HR documents (including rebranding)

• Employee of the Month
o Managing the award program
o Communicating the program effectively to drive engagement

• Employer branding
o Promoting the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) through internal activities and communications

• Development of Scorecard and PM templates
• Assisting Acting HR Director with implementation of PM process and tools
• Annual , quarterly and monthly planning of service staffing requirement to provide effectively and responsibly for the needs of the centres
• Accurately forecasting staff movement, turnover and requirement

• Oversee Recruitment/Movement
o Managing content and placement of teaching job advertisements
o Coordinating and facilitating employee transfers between centres

• Service Career Path development program
o Developing and managing process
o Interview and selection of Team Leaders
o Learning needs analysis
o Co-ordinate training (with HR and Service Trainers)

• Developing tracking systems and HR data analysis
• Analysis and presentation of HR data for use in monthly SMM meeting

• SM and Teacher contact for all issues including:
o Visa and work permit
o Payroll
o Compensation & benefits
o Reward & Recognition/Disciplinary Action
o Learning & Development

• Centre visits:
o build and maintain relationships with employees
o develop employer brand
o gather information on the successes and challenges of service teams and individual employees

• Maintaining hard copy and HRIS records of employee files
• Drawing up initial and renewal contract, and processing documents relating to change of status/work location/package etc.
• Developing Excel tools and forms to assist HR and Service record, track and communicate necessary data
