Job ScopeYou will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects.You must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning HR departments.You should be able to manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset.The goal is to ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.ResponsibilitiesDevelops organisation strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis and recommendations to organisation strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organisational objectives.Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits training and development, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention and labor relations.Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing and updating policies, procedures, methods and guidelines ; communicating and enforcing organisation values.Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.Identifies and monitors the organisation's culture so that it supports the attainment of the company's goals and promote employee satisfaction.Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organisation's compliance.Conducts investigations when employee complaints or issues occur.Reviews, guides and approves management recommendations for employment terminations.Defines all Human Resources training programs and assigns the responsibility of Human Resources and managers within those programs.Lead a process of organisation development that plans, communicates and integrates the results of strategic planning throughout the organisation.Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance.Leads the development of department goals, objectives and systems.Leads competitive market research to establish pay practices and pay bands that helps to recruit and retain superior staff.Leads company compliance with all existing governmental and labor laws including any related to the Equal Employment Opportunity.Develops and monitors an annual budget.Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business , Orgnisation Development.Ten plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.Broad knowledge in labor law, compensation, organisational planning , organisation development , employee relations , safety and training.Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources network and organisations and ongoing community involvement preferred.Possess ongoing affiliation with leaders in successful companies and organisations that practice effective Human Resources Management.Good at verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff members.Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.Familiar with using tools and technology.
