Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

-The consultant will support the executing agency, implementing agencies, project management unit (PMU), and project implementation units (PIUs) in project implementation and administration.
-The consultant will assist in (i) overall project implementation, including conduct of the capacity development activities; (ii) review and/or preparation of detailed engineering design, construction supervision, and contract management; and (iii) act as the “Engineer” of the “Client” (implementing agencies) on the site to monitor, inspect, check, verify, review, test, certify, and report compliance with the requirements of the project, as well as supervise the commissioning and turn-over phases of the project.
-The scope of service is summarized as follows. The assignment will start in April 2019 and implemented over 77 months until September 2025.

The consultant will:
(i) support the Department of Urban and Housing Development (DUHD) of the Ministry of Construction as the executing agency, Mon State Government (MSG)
and Kayin State Government (KSG) as the implementing agencies, PMU established under DUHD, and PIUs established in each of the project towns of Mawlamyine, Hpa-An, and Myawaddy
