"Overall Responsibilities : Reporting to Head of International Banking Department, and be responsible in managing daily operations and overall processing of international banking transactions.
: Deputize for the Department Head
Key Areas of Accountability
• Processing of day-to-day operational tasks of Trade Finance, Payment and Remittances Products
• Ensuring all processes adhere to Internal Bank Policies and Procedures, internal Compliance Requirements, external Rules and Regulations, and International Practices
• Ensuring accurate and timely transaction reporting for all products on daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Performing reconciliation on all General Ledgers entries against transaction reports on daily basis
• Monitoring on operational processes, staff efficiency, and providing recommendation for process improvements and controls
• Attending to customers’ queries, explaining and advising products, processes and regulations to customers, and solving customers’ problems relating to international banking transactions
• Direct, train and motivate the subordinates to perform consistently high standard in a team environment.
• Any other duties or projects as assigned by the Department Head.

Job Requirements

"Skills and Competencies Requirements
• Possess analytical skills, problem solving skills, risk control mindset and leadership quality.
• Possess communication skills in both written and verbal, with fluency in English
• Ability to work with high level of accuracy, attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure with the aptitude to learn are essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application including Words, Excel and PowerPoint
Experiences and Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Business, Finance or Economics related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a record of good management
• In-depth knowledge of bank’s operational processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of SWIFT Payment Standard and ICC guidelines, e.g. UCP600, URC522, URDG, ISP98, ISBP.
• Knowledge of current Foreign Exchange Management Laws and Regulations would be an added advantage
