The IT Supervisor is responsible for providing the right tools to the employees in order to
perform their job smoothly. Supporting the MIS & DS manager, s/he is controlling and
maintaining the IT structure, the IT operations and the security of the whole system. S/he
provides IT support for all employees on all IT aspects. S/he administrates the servers access
rights. S/he also maintains the IT park in good operation and standardizes the masters for the
devices. Her/his expertise enables her/him to offer a helpdesk service to the end users. S/he
reports to MIS&DS Manager.


Primary Responsibilities / Accountabilities

IT Operation and Security 40%
➢ Organizes the infrastructure system and maintains the company server (Data center,
server, device, all systems)
➢ Creates new developments on Server structure
➢ Works on Network Service (router device infrastructure) and systems operations
➢ Identifies the right level of security required and handles it
➢ Organizes the hardware and software in an integrated system (Network, System
Operation and Hardware)
➢ Handles the technical issues whenever it occurs on the servers, the networks, the
devices or the systems

IT Support and Maintenance 50%
➢ Provides helpdesk support and solves all problems related to the IT system and
Servers, and technical problems related to the end users
➢ Maintains and develops existing Hardware and Software (Systems)
➢ Provides recommendations and instruction on new demand
➢ Writes instructions and guidelines for end users
➢ Tests and evaluates the new possible tools before implementation
➢ Conducts electrical safety checks on computers requirements

IT Admin 10%
➢ Arranges annual holiday calendar and calendar format for MD
➢ Assists in team as needed
➢ Ensures the replacement of the Reporting Supervisor whenever necessary
➢ Coaches the Reporting Supervisor in order to prepare her/him to hand over
the role of IT Supervisor whenever it is required

➢ Bachelor Degree/ Master Degree in IT

➢ 10- 12 years in IT Sector
