ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Support Specialist is tasked with monitoring and maintaining an organization’s computer systems and networks. He/she will be responsible for diagnosing any hardware or software faults with these systems and will solve the issues either in person or over the phone.

◾ Working within establishing configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
◾ Providing IT support, supporting the roll-out of new applications including procedural documentation and relevant reports
◾ Supporting and administering firewall environments in line with IT security policy
◾ Configuring and installing various network devices such as routers, firewalls, VPN
◾ Following instructions, either written or in diagram form, in order to set up a system or fix a fault
◾Installation & configuration of a company’s computer hardware operating systems and applications.
◾ Responding to call-outs in a timely fashion and speaking to support with staffs via email and/or phone for their request IT issues.
◾ Maintaining and monitoring of computer networks and systems.
◾ Testing and evaluating new technology.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

◾ Must have at least 1-year experience in related IT field.
◾ Must have certificate of Practical A+ and Other IT certificates
◾ Must be university graduate and Any IT Diploma.
◾ Must have experience in Hardware maintenance and Basic Network knowledge.
◾ Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
◾ Strong oral, written, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
