Job responsibilities
• Provide database administration support
• Provide weblogic administration support
• Collaborate with application teams to define and maintain oracle/mssql/postgres environments for application development and testing
• Assist in planning and implementing of database systems and application changes
• Perform database management and administration
• Perform database backups and recoveries
• Assist in problem identification and solving, sometimes requiring off-shift support

Job Requirements

Job requirements
• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Prefer 2 years of overall IT experience
• Prefer 1 year of experience in database administration (MSQL, Oracle, Postgres, AWS Redshift)
• Prefer 1 year of experience working in Unix/Linux/Solaris/Windows environments
• Strong written/oral English communication skills with ability to communicate effectively
• May need to work on weekends, off hours and holidays if required
• Prefer Knowledge- Database Administration, Oracle 11g/12c, MSQL, Postgres, AWS Redshift, Weblogic, Shell Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL
