• Delivers efficient legal support to enable business growth in Myanmar while ensuring efficiency of operations.
• Provides clear legal counsel on general/business issues and business transactions in Myanmar.
• Identifies legal risks and helps the business navigate them, providing creative but legally compliant solutions that deliver a competitive advantage to the business.
• Provides good governance and support to ensure compliance with applicable laws as well as Company's Code of Business Principles and Code Policies.
• Effectively participates in the Category Legal issues including product claims and the challenge in-out process.
• Maintains relationships with relevant external contacts. (E.g. legal functions of key customers/competitors, Government organization, regulators, trade/industry associations and external
bodies etc.)
• Provide a creative but legally compliant solutions that deliver a competitive advantage to the business.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Master in related professional field
• 4 years solid legal working experience in commercial business sector in Myanmar, preferred FMCG sector
• Qualified lawyer and/or legal practitioner in Anti-bribery law, employment law, compliance, corporate governance and corporate law
• Working knowledge of Intellectual property, Myanmar Investment Law, Competitive Law, Labor Law and other business related law and regulation
• Passion of experiencing in working as a partner with FMCG business unit to drive the organization performance / growth
• Problem solving and decision making skills.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and local language
• Strong communicating with internal/ external stakeholders, government offices, ministries
