This division focuses on building strong relationship with banks locally or outside of Myanmar, to bring in business leads to the bank. FI works closely with other business divisions within the bank to serve the foreign bank branches and rep offices in Myanmar.

Responsibilities:

• Developing a calling program on foreign bank’s representative offices in Yangon to source business opportunities.
• Identifying key banks by region and country to be on the bank’s correspondent bank and nostro relationship list
• Delivering quality customer service by providing accurate, relevant and timely information on our products and services to partner banks
• Managing and responding to both internal & external partners’ enquiries / requests via phone calls and e-mails
• Working independently, taking ownership of issues and escalation by the partner banks or their customers
• Liaising with different departments to provide full service to partnership banks
• Responding to the queries of foreign banks
• Developing the internal credit rating process
• Working closely with the bank’s Treasury to place funds with other financial institutions
• Working closely with the bank’s Compliance to be able to open nostro account in strategic countries
• Understand transaction banking products thoroughly including but not limited to cash management, export and import products

Qualification Required:

• A bachelor’s degree (preferably in banking & finance) from an accredited university is required. Other related disciplines may also be considered.
• At least 3 years of international banking experience
• Good language skills in both English and Myanmar is preferred.
• Good understanding and knowledge of various banking products and services.
• Credit analysis skills and experience preferred
