Position Purpose
The role is to perform meticulous cash management, cash management and reconciliation for entire Wave Money business. The role is to act as the second in charge of Back Office Operations Department.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Design and review the policy and procedures for the operations department
• Ensure that Operational processes & policies are in place and followed by the team
• Initiate & review the business requirements for system automation & new products design
• Perform end to end UAT for ensuring that all requirements are designed & delivered as per the initiated requirements
• Coordination with partner bank and correspondent banks for cash management, Bank account opening, Complaints management or any reporting issue.
• Ensure the reconciliations of all relevant accounts.
• Ensure all service requests are resolved within agreed turn-around time.
• Coordination with Internal & External Stakeholders for executing the disbursements
• Ensure that smooth & accurate Disbursements are performed as per the disbursement schedule
• Provide operational support to internal teams & to corporate clients
• Maintain disbursement records for reconciliation & audit review
• Provide support to other departments in ongoing system enhancement change requests
• Coordination with all internal & external stakeholders for the reconciliations & disbursements reporting
• Ensure that Agents are on boarded within agreed turn-around time
• Ensure to maintain proper record keeping/archival of agent’s documentation and agreements
• Understands the risk & can add controls in the processes for mitigating any fraud.

Experience, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas
• Solid Experience in cash management, reconciliation and reporting.
• Proven experience setting up and administrating process and policy designs.
• Strong business acumen, including a good understanding of financial market trends in Myanmar.
• Ability to translate analytics into actionable strategic recommendations and capacity to effectively communicate complex information and concepts to different types of audiences.
• Ability to partner successfully with leadership team, building trust and credibility by setting a high visible example of professional of excellence.
• Strong influencing skills, ability to lead work in a virtual and multi-cultural environment, often without direct line authority
• Ability to lead and coach the team assertively.
• Complex project management leadership skills and problem solving approach.
• In-depth knowledge and hands on of spreadsheet and advance and complex excel

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• At least 5 years’ experience working cash management or back office operations department in a middle management level.
• Previous experience working in technology company or in a financial service company , preferably in incident management
• Having experience working in an MNC company would be an advantage
• Fluency in English and Myanmar, both written and verbal communications.
