JOB DESCRIPTION:
Global Trade Finance Department provides a wide range of international trade finance products (import/export trade transactions) and services for Corporate’s.
This is a Manager - Global Trade Finance role, focused on driving the development of International Trade Business with the Myanmar corporate customers. This role will develop and deliver the Trade Sales strategy in Myanmar, representing the bank in client and industry engagements and achieving targeted growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Develop and deliver sales strategy and secure strategic internal support from stakeholders, in conjunction with the Head of Department in order to identify and satisfy customer needs and to achieve revenue and asset growth/asset quality targets.
– Meeting credit risk and profitability requirements and deliver targeted growth in Trade Finance business.
– Proactively manage trade relationships within the portfolio of existing and agreed target clients in order to develop structure and review proposals that meet customer requirements.
– Recognize opportunities to develop further income and economic profit, recommending and implementing the appropriate solutions.
– Prepare Trade Cycle Analysis papers (TCAs) and provide input to credit applications in conjunction with Relationship Teams, aligned with defined strategy and engage with colleagues in product, sales support and risk as appropriate.
– Act as client point of contact for all transactions for customers in Myanmar, with the ability to discuss technical and operational aspects of transactions.
– Identify product gaps or new product opportunities to influence the development of key new
product service initiatives and more cost effective delivery channels.
– Ensure customer treatment and other regulatory requirements are met and are compliant
Regulatory policy in order to protect and enhance the bank’s reputation.
– Support the active management of the trade portfolio as required.
– Deep knowledge of risk profile and regulatory treatment of International Trade and
associated risk and product management practices. Understanding of the various ICC
regulations like UCP 600, ISBP, URC, URR, and ISBP will be added advantage.

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Skills
• Proven record of technical understanding of Trade Sales and
Product & Procedure Management.

Education & Special Training
• Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduation from recognized
University; CDCS Certification will be an added advantage.

Experience
• Proven record of technical understanding of Trade Sales and
Product & Procedure Management. Minimum 5 years
experience in a trade sales or product management capacity.

Languages
• Excellent written and Oral English communication skills.
