Functional Responsibilities:
Sales/Marketing
• Hands-on approach
• Be committed to the expansion & success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
• Provide training, coaching, development and motivation for the branch personnel
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans with the support of the Management
• Locate areas for improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
• Address customers and employees satisfaction issues promptly
• Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
• Provide daily directions to the sales force following objectives set by the National Sales Manager and ensuring they are focused on delivering results
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships to anticipate the needs of the customer, identify the decision makers and role players in the customer’s organisation, understand the ways and doings of the customer, access higher level when necessary
• Contribute significantly to the marketing and sales of equipment products and services.
• Timely and effective quality research, communication and response to customer issues.
• Provide consultive advice to customers on products and services that will enhance their business.
• Produce accurate and timely quotations on customer requirements and negotiate with them to win their business
• Assiting the sales force in closing deals
• Provides market intelligence on competition and market trends
• Ensuring the sales force is recording, maintaining and managing all customer contact and sales activities through CRM including lost business opportunities.
• Act a mentor to the sales force sharing their knowledge, best practice and skills to lift the skillset of the existing branch sales force.

After Sales/Administration
• Ensuring that high-quality work is an objective that all employees consider paramount. “Done right, done well, done once”.
• People management: responsible for the organization and performance of a growing team of after-sales service personnel
• Identifying appropriate training and staffing requirements to meet both existing and future needs.
• Actively striving for best practices in customer satisfaction and support with regular updates to management
• Preparation of operational and capital budgets as required and actively striving to meet targets.
• Ensuring customer service performance by service personnel is professional and appropriate to support business growth
• Efficient management and scheduling of resources for the maintenance, service and other operations as required by the National Sales Manager
• Identification of materials, parts and equipment for purchase to achieve value for money
• Succession planning of responsible workforce
• Interact at a management level with all departments to ensure seem-less flow for work performance and information is maintained at all times.
• Developing and implementing the necessary infrastructure and processes to support future growth
• Managing customer service performance to support business growth, brand differentiation, sales margin and customer loyalty.
• Actively solicit additional business for the After Sales department.
• Report monthly on overall revenue plan of After Sales business
• Dealing directly with escalated or high profile customer issues

Technical Responsibilities:
• Possesses a thorough understanding of our technical capabilities
• Maintain the Health and Safety standards for the branch in line with RMA Group global H&S standards.
• Be the Mentor for all team members on Technical matters

Financial Responsibilities:
• Full P&L development for the branch and reporting for the Infrastructure National Sales Manager
• Manage the profitability of the individual sales generated by the branch across all business units
• Manage costs at reasonable levels and in line with budget
• Actively advise concerns relating to profitability of the branch

Travel Requirements:
• This position is based in Mandalay in the RMA/ATC Branch. National travels will be required.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION:
• Educated to bachelor degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Business related field

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL:
• A minimum of 8 years of Management experience.
• Valid car driving license
• A track record of successfully meeting Sales & after Sales Service deliverables
• Be technically diverse in power equipment knowledge (and other when and where applicable)
• Possess a very strong business acumen
• Highest level of business ethics
• Excellent English (written and spoken)
• Fully conversant with Microsoft suite of products and fully computer literate

• Experience working for/with Multinational company or OEM supplier
