The Marketing Manager is expected to work on strengthening the BU’s Marketing function. The job role will be allocated 50% on Digital Marketing, and 50% on Non-Digital Marketing activities. The ratio may change in the course of time.
The BU’s Digital Marketing platform is mainly formed by BU’s Facebook page, smart phone “Farmer Application”, and webpage. He or she will work on popularizing, updating, transforming the before mentioned platform.
The BU’s Non-Digital Marketing activities are formed of Brand Management (for ARMO, Eagle, Diamond Seed Brand) and Market Development (for Fertilizer, Plant Protection, Seeds). He or she will be requested to support the current A&P Brand Manager for these activities.
Operational Deliverables :
Digital Marketing
Daily Monitoring of the digital marketing channels (ARMO Farmer App, Facebook, etc.)
Daily Updating of Contents: Communicate and consult daily with A&P Team and Sales Team for updating the contents. Specific examples are, managing the Q&A in the Farmer App., updating news & information in Farmer App and Facebook
Popularization: Planning and executing events and promotion to popularize the digital marketing platform
Non-Digital Marketing
Drive Special Marketing Campaigns – Create & implement marketing campaigns to promote spot sales of Aventine products, through active Dealers participations to the end-users.
Aventine Farmer Retail – Lead direct farmer retail of Aventine products through establishment of B2C marketing channel, while working with the operational team
Generate marketing lead for promoting sales of Aventine products through institutional channels, big farms, government tenders, growers association etc.
Functional Competencies:
Proficiency in Burmese and English language
Strong Inter personal skills to discuss and interact with Farmers and Sales Team members.
Basic understanding of Social Networking Services
Understanding of marketing concepts
Open to travel remotely to understand the field situations and market trends, also to plan and execute events and promotions.
High result orientation and ability to challenge status quo
Analytical ability to monitor market trends
Generate reports & monitor action plans leading to performance results
