Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

• Support the MR&I manager in the development of Zone marketing strategies and plans by preparing marketing forecasts and competitive business scenarios based on comprehensive and high-quality marketing information.

• Maintain accurate source of information for analysis

• Maintain and analyze information collected from markets and agencies in order to identify and recommend to the MR&I manager and the Marketing Team business opportunities within the Zone.

• Ensures the correct application of ORACLE methodologies throughout the Zone and contributes to the
development of new methodologies.

• Evaluate and maintain qualitative and quantitative information on competition

• Produce reports and analyses on agreed frequency

• Ensures the implementation of MR&I Common Platforms and Best Practices within each market.

• Follow on intra-market research projects within the Zone in response to common business needs.

• Consolidate reports at MM Zone level

• Good level resource/project management skills to successfully follow on multi-country projects within the Zone.

• Continuously monitor performance of markets within the zone in line with objectives of the year and draw the marketing team attention on possible gaps.

• Act as an early warning system to the marketing team concerning all aspects of own and competition activities that might impact the business.

• Ensure that key company, market, brand & segment performance indicators are effectively analyzed and regularly reported to the Management team.

Job Requirements

• BSc (Science) in Economics or Statistics.

• In depth understanding of consumer and trade research data sources, i.e. strengths and limitations.

• Experience of interpreting marketing information data and presenting conclusions to senior management.

• Effective communication and influencing skills.

• Broad overall business awareness and understanding of the inter-relationships between each function.

• Effective communication and presentation skills. Leadership skills are also required.

• High level of attention to detail, thorough analytical skills, rational decision making, objectivity, creativity and good negotiation capacity. Strong interpersonal skills and being a ‘team player’ are essential.

• A thorough knowledge of the business application of IT together a plus

• English Level III minimum
